In-service training of Frederick University Mechanical Engineering students at Vasiliko Cement Works

On March 5, 2018, Vassiliko Cement Works launched its bilateral cooperation with Frederick University offering in-service training to three mechanical engineering students. They obtained experience on subjects related to their study themes and subsequent profession. They improved practical knowledge, as they faced the problems they were taught to deal with in theory, in a real working environment. The two-week internship spanned out in a total of 80 hours, offering the best possible hands-on awareness.

The key objective of the Vasiliko Cement Works in-service training programs, is to provide young graduates with the opportunity of acquiring working experience and know-how in the framework of a demanding professional environment. They also have the rare chance of participating in complex and highly sensitive projects run by one of the largest heavy industries in the country.
