It is higher strength cement manufactured to meet the needs of the consumer for higher strength concrete. For certain specialized works, such as highway bridges, prestressed concrete and certain items of precast concrete structures requiring consistently high strength concrete, the use of this upgraded product is found very useful and produces higher grade concrete at very economical cement content. As the quality is assured, it is preferred for use in concrete grades C30 and higher concrete grades thus a saving to the customer of about 10% of cement may be achieved.

Low Alkali-Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement is a type of Portland Cement in
which the amount of tricalcium aluminate (C3A) is restricted to lower than 3.5%
and the Alkali content is restricted below 0.60%.
The use of SRC / LA is particularly beneficial in such conditions where the
concrete is exposed to the risk of deterioration due to sulphate attack. For
example, in contact with soils and ground waters containing excessive amounts of
sulphates as well as for concrete in seawater or exposed directly to seacoast.
It is also recommended when reactive aggregates are used in order to reduce the
effect of alkali-silica reaction in concrete.
The use of SRC is recommended for the following applications:
• Concrete Foundations.
• Concrete Piles.
• Basements and underground structures.
• Sewage and Water treatment plants.
• Chemical, Fertilizers and Sugar factories.
• Food processing industries and Petrochemical projects.
• Coastal works.
• Construction of buildings along the coastal front area.
• Precast items such as concrete pipes, road paving curbs and tiles (especially
in coastal areas).
• In cases of using potentially reactive concrete aggregates.
• Also for normal construction works where OPC is used, and higher strength or
improved chemical durability is required.

It is a type of Blended Cement which is produced using pure calcite
limestone.
Portland Composite Cement makes concrete more impermeable and denser as compared
to OPC, with advantages of higher degree of workability and reduced plastic
shrinkage. These are very important given the general nature of aggregates in
Cyprus.
The compressive strength at 28 days is equivalent to that of 42.5 R OPC and
superior at 2 and 7 days.
It can be used for the following applications:
• General Civil Engineering Construction Work.
• Non structural works such as plastering, flooring etc.
• When high early strengths are necessary (e.g. for earlier removal of
formwork).
• All other applications where OPC is used.

It is a blended cement produced as the previous product with the same
advantages. The only difference is the strength category.
It can be used for the following applications:
• Mass concreting and plain cement concreting.
• Plastering and building mortar.
• Foamcrete applications.

White Cement is made from pure calcite limestone. The iron oxide content is
less than 1% thereby rendering this product white in color. It is also not
likely to cause stain-marks since it has a low content of soluble alkalies.
Is extensively used in:
• The manufacture of mosaic tiles.
• The manufacture of cement paints.
• In terrazzo concrete floor tiles.
• Internal and external rendering.
• For setting and paint works.
