APPROVAL OF CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR 2013 AND CONVENING THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

We hereby wish to inform you that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Vassiliko Cement Works Public Company Ltd, held on 8thApril 2014, the following decisions were taken:

(a)       The Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the year 2013, which were duly audited by the external Auditors of the Company Messrs KPMG Limited, were approved by the Board of Directors.  A copy of the Annual Report and the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company has been posted on the Company’s website “www.vassiliko.com” (“Investors’ Relations”).

According to the provisions of the relevant regulations, copies of the Annual Report and the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company are available to the shareholders, investors, and general public at the Registered Offices of the Company in Nicosia (1A Kyriakos Matsis Avenue, Koupati Building, 4th Floor, Nicosia).

(b)       The 48th Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of the Company for the approval of the Annual Report and the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the year 2013 will take place at the “Le Meridien Limassol Spa & Resort” Hotel in Limassol, on Thursday 29th May 2014, at 5.00 p.m.
