Easter candles from St. Lazarus Center for people with disabilities

For a 4^th consecutive year, Vassiliko Cement Works offered candles to its personnel to support a charity foundation. This year, the Company chose to support the St. Lazarus Center for people with disabilities.

 

The St. Lazarus Center for people with disabilities is the only center, offering services to adults (over the age of 18 years), with mild to moderate mental retardation from the city and district of Larnaca. It is an association of volunteers and is governed by a twelve-member board of Directors. The Center draws its revenue from the State Grants Plan, board fees and various contributions.

 

By offering Eastern candles to its personnel, Vassiliko Cement Works reinforces Non-Governmental Organizations that aim at supporting vulnerable social groups.
