Participation of Vassiliko Cement Works in the 2nd “Cyprus Career Expo (CCE)”

Vassiliko Cement Works participated in the largest Career and Employment Exhibition in Cyprus (2nd “Cyprus Career Expo”), organized by the University of Nicosia and Ergodotisi.com, on the 2^nd & 3^rd of March 2019, at Filoxenia Conference Center, in Nicosia. The exhibition’s official opening was inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture, Mr. Costas Chabiaouris, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Cyprus.

Following last year’s high-standard organization, CCE registered a big success numbering more than 3.000 visitors and more than 80 participating companies across all sectors of the Cypriot economy.

The visitors, mainly students, visited Vassiliko Cement Works station and asked about the professions that exist in the Company, such as engineers, electricians, accountants, administrative personnel, officers of environment, health & safety etc. The Human Resources & Communication Department of Vassiliko Cement Works took part in the exhibition, giving information and accepting CVs from interested parties. Moreover, students had the opportunity to get informed about the Vassiliko Cement Works’ annual program called ‘Talent Academy’ which aims at offering job to unemployed graduates and non-graduates.

The Company supports the Career Days every year, by participating actively in the exhibitions and offering participants the opportunity to get to know the company and submit, directly, their CV.
