 PLANT OPERATOR - JOB OPENING

Vassiliko Cement Public Company Ltd is seeking to recruit one (1) Plant Operator for the Production Department.

 
Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mining Engineering

- Excellent knowledge of computer applications

- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages

- Shift work and/or flexible working hours during plant shutdown periods

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Implement procedures for the operation of production machinery and the management of human resources, waste management, spillages, and other processes, in accordance with Company requirements and production needs.

- Monitor the operation of machinery during shifts, ensuring the correct adjustment of various operating parameters, including pressures, temperatures, gas flows, etc., in accordance with the instructions of the Production Manager.

- Monitor and record product quality parameters and adjust operating settings to achieve the objectives of the Quality Assurance Department.

- Conduct quality control analysis of cement, clinker, raw materials, and ground coal parameters.

- Monitor additional plant and equipment parameters, such as motor temperatures, lubricant temperatures, etc., for which the Plant Operator is responsible.
